Step into a sanctuary of calm with our monthly Friday evening Yin Yoga and Sound Bath. This two-part evening retreat in the heart of Hampshire offers the perfect blend of gentle, grounding movement and therapeutic sound to release tension and reset your nervous system.
Whether you're carrying the weight of a long week, navigating stress or fatigue or simply seeking a nourishing way to unwind – this practice invites you back to yourself.

🧘🏽 Part One: Yin Yoga | 6:00–6:50 PM

Led by Emily Bruce, yoga therapist and “queen of relaxation,” this floor-based practice gently opens the body through long, supported holds and mindful breathwork.

  • Soothe tired muscles
  • Ease physical and emotional stress
  • Gently improve flexibility and circulation
  • Ground into stillness with guided awareness
  • All levels welcome. Different pose options are offered throughout.

?rt Two: Sound Bath | 7:10–8:00 PM

Led by Michelle Denninson-Hall of Hampshire Sound Therapy, this sound immersion supports deep rest and inner balance.

  • Bathe in the healing frequencies of crystal bowls, gongs, chimes and more
  • Rebalance your energy field
  • Support sleep, emotional release and inner clarity
  • Receive while lying down, please bring cushions, pillows and blankets for maximum comfort

This sound journey follows a 20-minute integration break after the yoga – when we'll share a warm drink and light snack or you might choose to simply settle in.

Please note: For safety reasons, sound baths are not recommended if you are in the first three months of pregnantcy have a pacemaker or significant heart condition, experience epilepsy or severe mental health issues or are within six weeks post surgery. Thank you for respecting these guidelines so that the practice remains safe and supportive for everyone.

🧺 What to Bring

  • Yoga mat (or request to borrow one)
  • A blanket or two, two bed pillows / yoga bolster or cushions and an eye pillow / mask (some props available to borrow)
  • Comfortable clothes, layers and socks
  • Water bottle

  • Yin Yoga only (6–6:50 PM): £15
  • Sound Bath only (7:10–8 PM): £20
  • Full Evening (Yin + Sound Bath): £30 Spaces are limited – early booking recommended.

Emily Bruce is a Winchester-based yoga therapist specialising in stress relief, sleep and gentle, accessible yoga for midlife and beyond. Michelle Denninson-Hall, founder of Hampshire Sound Therapy, offers sound healing rooted in integrity, presence and care. Together, they create a nurturing and inclusive space for rest and renewal.
