Dharana or single pointed focus is the 6th of the 8 limbs of Yoga and the first stage of meditation. The decision to bind the mind to a single object or place is also applicable in everyday life not just during meditation. Be 100% focused on the present moment and the task at hand. We start by anchoring the awareness to the breath and then flow through some gentle stretches for spine, hips and whole body, finishing with our usual guided relaxation.
