13.11.23 Mindful Monday Morning with the Theme of Water

We start as always by checking in with ourselves paying particular attention to the level or experience of energy or Prana within us. We then flow through some simple seated stretches to prepare us to sit comfortably. Ujjayii breath which involves a slight constriction at the back of the throat just slightly increasing the sensation of the breath there - prepares us to conclude with a guided meditation. We rest the awareness on the breath in the nostril, returning with compassion any time the mind wanders.

This week our meditation is slightly longer so there is the option to count the breath if the mind is restless or finding it difficult to settle.
