I’m so pleased to share my clients sleep story - from “hearing the grass grow" to "8+ hours sleep per night!”
Here’s how Karen turned her unhealthy sleep routine into that restful sleep pattern that we all dream of.
Before we worked together Karen:
- had trouble staying asleep and woke regularly during the night. Sometimes getting as little as 4 hours a night
- often found she just couldn’t function the next day
- Rarely getting as much as 7 hours a night
- Felt as if she could “hear the grass grow and found it difficult to fall back to sleep”
- Her sleep was poor quality and she felt tired and lacking energy. She experienced higher levels of stress and anxiety after a bad nights sleep accompanied by a hangover feeling that could last all day
Previously Karen’s sleep hygiene was not good she “loved scrolling through Instagram in bed and stayed up late at the weekends as well as suffering from chronic psoriasis, poor concentration and making unhealthy choices like grabbing for the biscuits“ when she had a “slump during the day”.
Here are some of Karen's highlights:
- “My sleep has changed significantly!”
- She now regularly gets 8-9 hours sleep a night
- She’s pledged to ditch the bedtime phone habit and late nights since taking the course
These small changes have had a serious transformative effect on her sleep.
She’s felt a positive impact on her sleep pattern and her life. Introducing the breathing practices, meditation, eating for better sleep and yoga have all enhanced her sleep which in turn has had a positive effect on her health. Her chronic psoriasis has improved and she feels less anxious and stressed. Additionally Karen's concentration is better and she’s able to make better/healthier choices - which has led to a 4lbs weight loss!
